At Unidad Educativa Reggio Innova, English is not only taught as a subject — it is embraced as a second language across diverse educational contexts. Through cross-curricular collaboration and meaningful learning experiences, students develop English proficiency in both academic and everyday environments.
In Primary School, students receive between 11 and 16 hours per week of instruction in English through two key areas:
- English Language (focused on communication, reading, and writing)
- Worldview (which includes Science and Social Studies taught in English)
In addition, students have access to an optional enrichment block called “Talento”, which offers diverse learning experiences aligned with their interests and strengths. Many of these classes are also conducted in English, such as:
- Science Lab
- Life Skills
- Entrepreneurship Projects and others
Our English program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, Encouraging curiosity, exploration, and critical thinking. We use high-quality educational platforms resources such as Cambridge One, Education.com, and Epic to support engaging and personalized learning experiences.
